職人の手により、ひと彫りひと彫り丁寧に杉、石垣の模様を彫り込みました。
彫刻のモチーフは琴や三味線の胴の内側に施される杉彫り。
音色を響かせる、澄んだ音にするなど効果があるといわれております。
粗削りで、無骨な線がトゲトゲした植物などにぴったりです。
This piece is carefully hand-carved by skilled craftsmen, with each line individually etched to create traditional cedar and stone-wall–inspired patterns.
The carving motif is based on sugibori, a technique traditionally applied to the inner bodies of Japanese instruments such as the koto and shamisen.
It is said that these carvings help resonate sound and produce a clear, refined tone.
The rough, bold carving lines give it a rugged character, making it a perfect match for spiky or sharp-textured plants.
