瀬戸焼の盆栽鉢を燻して仕上げました。
愛知県三河にて、いぶし瓦と同じ製法で色を出しています。
塗装とは異なり、鉢本来の通気性を損なうことはほとんどありません。
鉢自体は釉薬を使わない素焼きで、通気性・保湿性に優れ、植物の育成に適しています。
盆栽はもちろん、サボテンや多肉植物の寄せ植えにもよく合う、シンプルで伝統的な形状です。
使い込むほどに古色を帯び、変化する風合いをお楽しみいただけます。

This is a Seto-yaki bonsai pot finished with a smoked effect.
It is colored using the same method as Mikawa’s traditional smoked roof tiles in Aichi Prefecture.
Unlike painted pots, it preserves the natural breathability of the clay.
The pot itself is unglazed, offering excellent airflow and moisture retention, making it ideal for plant growth.
Its simple, traditional shape pairs beautifully not only with bonsai but also with cacti and succulent arrangements.
Over time, the pot develops a natural aged patina, allowing you to enjoy its changing texture and character.
